In The News

In March 2013 the President and CEO of Safe Alliance, Phil Kline, recognized Tyler in their monthly newsletter for the February 2013 service project where we collected used cell phones to benefit victims of domestic violence.

January 2014's service project, the Pillow Project expanded beyond Charlotte, thanks to friends in Atlanta, Baton Rouge and Raleigh wanting to get involved. Lori D. R. Wiggins wrote an article in Raleigh's Midtown Muse about our project and The Healing Place of Wake County which is the organization that received the pillows and pillowcases.  A huge thank you to Nikki Davis-Green (Atlanta), Deidre Jackson (Baton Rouge) and Brandi Delaney (Raleigh) for coordinating the Pillow Project in your respective cities! It was the ultimate demonstration of #CommunityOfGiving.

Our original service project for July 2014 was Hydration 4 The Homeless. We were interviewed on WBTV on Bounce TV about the project.  Due to weather, we had to reschedule for August, but we had a great time visiting the studio and making our first live television appearance.
