Team work truly makes the dream work!! Today I delivered 117 Comfort Kits 4 Cancer thanks to all of the donations and time put into this month's service project!!!! Each Comfort Kit contained fuzzy socks, sensitive toothpaste, soft bristled toothbrush, activity book, journal, hand sanitizer, unscented lotion and tissue.  All of the 'leftover' items were also donated bringing the grand total of each item to:

I didn't anticipate this in my planning but I'm much happier with having more to finish than only having a few to deliver. Fun With Food: Glitter Grapes

I wish I could take credit for this easy and healthy family treat, but I will admit that this is a borrowed recipe from a fellow Howard Bison, K. Fletcher.  She posted this on her social media pages and I immediately knew it was a must try for us!!! These are fruit snacks you wouldn't mind your children devouring.

The recipe is really simple, there are two ingredients: grapes and Jello gelatin packets (choose your favorite flavor) and only four steps! Little hands would love assisting with making these sweet treats.

Step 1. Rinse the grapes and place in a plastic container. Don't dry the grapes, they need to be wet.

Step 2. Sprinkle the Jello onto the grapes. Close the lid and shake.

Step 3. Place in the freezer to chill.

Step 4. Enjoy!
